Accessibility Statement

Effective date: October 13, 2026. Last updated: October 13, 2026. We want everyone to be able to use this website.

Our standard

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG 2.2 Level AA includes the WCAG 2.1 and 2.0 Level AA requirements that U.S. accessibility rules under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 refer to, and that the European standard EN 301 549 builds on.

We last evaluated every page of the site against WCAG 2.2 Levels A and AA on October 13, 2026. In that evaluation we found no failures; the details are below.

What we have done

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, in reading order, with a clearly visible focus outline, a link to skip to the content, and nothing that traps the keyboard or hides the item that has focus.
  • Text, focus outlines and the edges of buttons meet the WCAG contrast levels (measured below).
  • Every link and button is at least 24 by 24 pixels or has that much space around it, apart from links inside a sentence, which the guideline allows.
  • Pages reflow on screens as narrow as 320 pixels without sideways scrolling, text can be enlarged to 200 percent, and nothing is cut off when the spacing of letters, words and lines is increased.
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, decorative images are hidden from screen readers, and each business name appears as text next to its logo.
  • The site plan has a text description, and every building's address, position and directions links are also given as text. The plan is a picture: nothing on the site needs dragging.
  • Each building is labelled with its number, always written out, so color is never the only clue.
  • Nothing moves on its own, flashes or plays sound, and the site follows your device's reduced-motion setting.
  • Contact details are in the same place on every page: the phone number at the top, and the phone number, email address and contact page in the footer.
  • The site has no pop-ups, forms, sign-ins or time limits, and every page works without JavaScript.

How we evaluated the site

  • Software checks: the axe-core engine with its WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level A and AA rules, on every page at screen widths of 320, 390, 768, 1024 and 1366 pixels, in Google Chrome; and the WCAG accessibility audit at jwatte.com on a sample of pages. Results the engine could not decide were reviewed by hand.
  • By keyboard: every page walked with the Tab and Shift+Tab keys at each width, checking the order, the focus outline and that the focused item stays in view.
  • Measured: the size and spacing of every link and button; each page with text at 200 percent and at 200 percent zoom; the WCAG text spacing test; the reduced-motion setting.

We repeat these checks when the design or the pages change. We have not yet tested the site with each screen reader on each device.

Color contrast

Body text and headings measure 12.2:1 to 15.4:1 against their backgrounds, and no text on the site is below 5.4:1 (WCAG Level AA asks for 4.5:1). Focus outlines and the edges of buttons measure at least 3.4:1 (Level AA asks for 3:1).

Known limits

Business logos are images supplied by each business; we show the business name as text beside every logo, but we cannot change the logos themselves. Links in the directory lead to each business's own website, booking page or social profile, and to map services, which other companies run; we cannot vouch for the accessibility of those sites. Questions about getting into or around a business's suite are best answered by the business itself.

Other formats and accommodations

Each page also has a plain markdown version. If you need anything on this site in another format, such as large print, plain text, or read to you over the phone, ask us and we will provide it as an accommodation, at no cost.

Report a barrier

To contact us about accessibility, a barrier you met or an accommodation you need, email wattes7@gmail.com or call (208) 420-6328. Tell us which page you were on and what got in the way, and we will work on a fix.
