Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026. Last updated: October 13, 2026. This website collects as little as a website can.

In short

This website has no forms, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts, and your browser makes no requests to any other company while you read it. The site plan is a drawing stored on this site, so viewing it contacts no map service.

Who we are

This policy covers the website of West Shoup Campus at westshoupcampus.com (the site), run by the campus management (we, us), 608, 664 and 676 Shoup Ave W, Twin Falls, ID 83301. For the personal information described here, we are the controller in the sense of the GDPR.

Information we collect

We do not ask for personal information on this site. Personal data reaches us in two ways only:

  • Hosting logs. Netlify, the company that hosts the site, records each request its servers answer: the IP address, the browser's user agent, the page or file requested, the referring page and the time. This happens on every website and is used for security and operations.
  • Messages you choose to send. If you email or call us, we receive your name, your contact details and whatever you tell us.

How we use information

We use hosting logs to keep the site running and secure, and messages to answer you. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, build profiles or make automated decisions about anyone. Under the GDPR, the legal bases are our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (hosting logs) and steps you ask us to take (answering a message).

Service providers and third parties

Netlify, Inc. hosts the site and processes the hosting logs as our service provider; see Netlify's privacy policy. Our email provider holds the messages you send us. We share personal information with no one else, except where the law requires it.

The links to each business's website, booking page or social profile, and to Google Maps and Apple Maps, lead to third-party sites that have their own privacy practices. Each business at the campus is independently owned and handles its customers' information under its own policy.

The endpoints for AI assistants

The site's read-only MCP server (/mcp) and A2A site guide (/a2a) answer AI assistants from the facts the site already publishes. They ask for no personal information, store nothing and remember no one. To block abuse, Netlify counts requests per IP address over one minute; the hosting logs above apply to these requests too.

How long we keep information

We keep no copy of the hosting logs; Netlify keeps them for the limited period its own retention policy sets. We keep an email, or a note of a call, only as long as we need it to deal with your question and keep a record of the conversation, and then delete it.

How we protect information

The site is served only over HTTPS, with a strict content security policy, and loads no code from any other website. Because the site collects almost nothing, there is very little to protect.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR give you the right to access your personal data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability, and you may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

California. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA / CPRA), gives California residents the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing, and the right not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, as that law defines those words, and have not done so in the past 12 months, so there is no Do Not Sell or Share link to offer.

To use any of these rights, email wattes7@gmail.com or call (208) 420-6328. We will answer within one month (45 days for a California request), and we may ask for enough detail to find what we hold.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The site does not track you, so it treats every visit as if your browser sent a Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When it does send one, nothing changes, and we honor a GPC signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.

Children

The site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International visitors

We are in Idaho, in the United States, and Netlify serves the site from servers in several countries. If you contact us from outside the United States, your message is handled in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If what the site collects changes, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
